About the Town Centre

Golders Green is one of Barnet’s seven main town centres. Whilst commercial activity is largely focused on Golders Green Road, the Town Centre itself centre extends across the junction of Golders Green Road to Finchley Road and North End Road.

In 2020, the council adopted the Golders Green Town Centre Strategy. Using the Town Centre Strategy as the basis, the council is starting the delivery of a series of public space improvements within Golders Green, to transform the town centre into an attractive area for people to live, work and visit.
